Art from Sigavou - Vonu Ni Viti IV - FIJI AIRWAYS EXCLUSIVE

In ancient Fijian legends, sea turtles are symbols of good fortune and blessing. As part of a unique, limited-edition series, “Vonu Ni Viti” (Turtle of Fiji) has been hand-painted on traditional barkcloth. Iconic to Fijian culture, this natural canvas is crafted by village women from sustainably grown tropical mulberry trees. Local artist Maria Rova refers to her creative work as her ‘Love Song to Fiji’. Each piece is  imbued with the warm spirit and authenticity that is a cherished part of our island life.
